2006 February Sweeps February 24 Listings (Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone) 7 PM: America's Funniest Home Videos (ABC; ends at 9 PM)-Two-hour episode. XX Olympic Winter Games (NBC; ends at 11 PM)-Figure skating: champions gala; alpine skiing: women's giant slalom final; bobsled: four man; speed skating: men's 10,000m final. WWE Friday Night SmackDown! (UPN; ends at 9 PM) What I Like About You (WB; ends at 7:30 PM)-Holly and Vince fail to see eye-to-eye regarding his new working relationship with his female co-worker and decide to spend some time apart. Meanwhile, Vic receives a clean bill of health from the doctor and he and Val are finally able to take their relationship to the next level. However, when Val decides to abruptly end her newly created special offer-free coffee and food-for Vic's firehouse, it causes a rift in their relationship. 7:30 PM: Living with Fran (WB; ends at 8 PM)-After Riley gets Fran a job as the decorator on the new development his construction company is building, they decide to keep their relationship a secret from Riley's boss Bryan (guest star Ray Abruzzo.) However, Riley questions their decision when Bryan continuously flirts with Fran, who seems to enjoy it. Meanwhile, Allison convinces Josh to tutor her best friend Becca (guest star Caitlin Crosby) but becomes jealous when Becca wants to spend all her time with Josh. Later, the tables are turned and Fran becomes the jealous one when Bryan's daughter starts hitting on Riley. 8 PM: Reba (WB; ends at 8:30 PM)-Dr. Jack Morgan (James Denton, Desperate Housewives) returns to Houston with the intention of resuming his romance with Reba. However, following a double date with Cheyenne and Van, Jack reveals to a shocked Reba that he is technically still married. Reaching the startling conclusion that she has unknowingly become the Barbra Jean in her relationship, Reba goes to an unlikely source for advice...Brock. The Soup (E!; ends at 8:30 PM)-Host Joel McHale makes fun of celebrity news and events. Battlestar Galactica (Sci-Fi Channel; ends at 9 PM)-Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess) portrays a member of the Cylon leadership, who honors Number Six and Sharon as heroes on Caprica. Elsewhere, Kara's lover, Samuel Anders (guest star Michael Trucco), plans to attack the Cylons. 8:30 PM: Twins (WB; ends at 9 PM)-Farrah hires former underwear model Charlie (guest star Nick Lachey, Newlyweds) to be the new Director of Marketing because she can relate to his problem...no one takes him seriously because he is so good looking. Farrah's goal is to prove to Mitchee, Lee, and Alan that she and Charlie aren't just pretty faces, but when Charlie fails to come up with ideas for the new men's underwear line, Farrah must pull an all-nighter to bail him out. 9 PM: 20/20 (ABC; ends at 10 PM) Best Week Ever (VH1; ends at 9:30 PM)-I bet that the American Idol Top 24 competition will be mentioned. 9:30 PM: Web Junk 20 (VH1; ends at 10 PM)-Patrice O'Neal makes fun of 20 different online videos. Watching/Recording Suggestions: At 7 PM, watch What I Like About You/Living with Fran. At 8 PM, watch Reba/Twins. At 9 PM, watch Best Week Ever/Web Junk 20.
