Singer John Mayer has apologized for using a racial slur in his controversial Playboy interview. "Re: using the 'N word' in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. ... I should have never said the word and I will never say it again," Mayer wrote in a series of tweets.
Dr. Conrad Murray pled not guilty after being charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. Murray surrendered at a Los Angeles court Monday afternoon, shortly after prosecutors filed a complaint saying that Murray "did unlawfully, and without malice, kill Michael Joseph Jackson."
Bail was set at $75,000, three times the amount the charge usually carries, according to the Los Angeles Times. If convicted, Murray faces up to four years in prison.

A Los Angeles judge on Thursday extended a custody order restricting Courtney Love's access to her teenage daughter, Frances Bean, her child with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
