2007 February Sweeps February 10 Listings (Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone) 4 PM: “AFC-NFC Pro Bowl” (CBS; ends at 7 PM)-Special. 6 PM: “NASCAR '07: Bud Shootout” (FOX; ends at 8 PM) 7 PM: “A Charlie Brown Valentine” (ABC; ends at 7:30 PM)-Special. Valentine's Day finds Chuck pining for the little red-haired girl, as Sally seeks a way to woo a reluctant Linus. Meanwhile, Snoopy takes to his typewriter to author the perfect poem; and Peppermint Patty meets her competition for Mr. Brown's affections. Voices include Wesley Singerman, Lauren Schapple, Corey Padnos, and Jessica D. Stone. Directed by Bill Melendez. Music composed by Vince Guaraldi and performed by David Benoit. “Dateline NBC” (NBC; ends at 8 PM) 7:30 PM: “Winnie the Pooh, a Valentine for You” (ABC; ends at 8 PM)-Special. 8 PM: Bringing Down the House (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-2003 comedy starring Steve Martin, Queen Latifah, Eugene Levy, Joan Plowright, and Jean Smart. 9 PM: “48 Hours Mystery” (CBS; ends at 10 PM) 10:30 PM: “MADtv” (FOX; ends at 11:30 PM)-“Grey’s Anatomy” star Kate Walsh joins the cast for more late-night laughs and all-new sketches. 10:35 PM: “Saturday Night Live” (NBC; ends at 12:05 AM)-Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Forest Whitaker hosts; Keith Urban performs. Whitaker may win the Oscar as well for his performance as Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, but, despite appearing in 1982's Fast Times at Ridgemont High and 1987's Good Morning, Vietnam, I've never known him to have much of a sense of humor. Maybe I'll be surprised. As far as Urban goes, we'll see if his stint in rehab did him any good with his musical chops. 11:30 PM: “Talkshow with Spike Feresten” (FOX; ends at 12 AM)-Actor John C. McGinley makes a special late-night guest appearance while Spike receives a women’s health update and checks in on our relations with North Korea. Stoners are treated to a senior transsexual party. Watching/Recording Suggestions: At 7 PM, watch “A Charlie Brown Valentine.” At 10:30 PM, record “MADtv” on TiVo. At 10:35 PM, watch “Saturday Night Live.” At 11:30 PM, record “Talkshow with Spike Feresten” on TiVo. |
