2007 February Sweeps February 4 Listings (Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone) 4 PM: “Super Bowl Kick Off Show” (CBS; ends at 4:25 PM)-Special. Pre-game activities for the Colts-Bears match-up in Super Bowl XLI, including Billy Joel's performance of the national anthem and the coin toss. 4:25 PM: “Super Bowl XLI: Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts” (CBS; ends at 7 PM)-Special. Chicago vs. Indianapolis at Dolphins Stadium in Miami. The 41st annual title game matches up Peyton Manning's dynamic Colts offense and the Bears' stingy defense, which is led by LB Brian Urlacher. Halftime entertainment is provided by Prince. Personally...I don't care who wins, since I'll just be watching the commercials. 6:30 PM: X2: X-Men United (FOX; ends at 9 PM)-2003 superhero action movie starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden. 8 PM: Old School (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-2003 comedy starring Luke Wilson, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Jeremy Piven, and Ellen Pompeo. “Criminal Minds” (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-New episode on a special night. The BAU team is called in to investigate when a wealthy couple is murdered in their home following a Super Bowl party. Hotchner and the BAU team fear they are facing a mission-based serial killer, or multiple killers, when a 911 phone call quoting bible passages from Revelations is placed by someone in the house just seconds before the murders occur. As the team begins their profile, Garcia discovers that the tech-savvy unsub (unknown subject) sent out a video of the murders over the Internet just hours after they were committed, which is viewed by millions of users. Meanwhile, Hotchner, Morgan, and Prentiss must determine how many people are actually responsible for the murders since different voices can be heard on the 911 recording and on the video. James van der Beek ("Dawson's Creek") guest stars as a troubled young man. CBS Sports announcers Jim Nantz and Phil Simms make cameo appearances. Watching/Recording Suggestions: At 4 PM, watch “Super Bowl Kick Off Show.” At 4:25 PM, watch “Super Bowl XLI: Chicago Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts.” At 8 PM, watch “Criminal Minds.” |
