A debt-ridden con man (Frank Whaley) returns home to take care of his wealthy grandmother (Marion Ross) in hopes of becoming the sole heir to her estate. Also starring Keith Carradine, Christine Elise, and David DeLuise. “A.I. Assault” (Sci-Fi Channel; ends at 9 PM)-TV movie. "Star Trek" spin-off series veterans Michael Dorn and Robert Picardo star in this sci-fi action film following Navy SEALs as they hunt highly adaptive, synthetic soldiers on a remote island. Also starring Bill Mumy (the original "Lost in Space"), Joe Lando (TV movie "Bloodsuckers"), and Alexandra Paul ("Baywatch.") 8 PM: “America’s Most Wanted: America Fights Back” (FOX; ends at 9 PM) 9 PM: “48 Hours Mystery” (CBS; ends at 10 PM) 10:30 PM: “Mad TV” (FOX; ends at 11:30 PM)-Tyler (Bobby Lee) and Candy Matsumoto (Nicole Parker) head to Iraq to entertain the troops in a skit titled “Hello Iraq, Hello!” Meanwhile, Darryl (Michael McDonald) and Shanda (Nicole Parker) are the hosts of the morning show “Rise and Shine, North Dakota,” a city they describe as filled with “snow and alcoholism.” 10:35 PM: “Saturday Night Live” (NBC; ends at 12:05 AM)-Tom Hanks hosts and Red Hot Chili Peppers perform. Tom is promoting his upcoming movie The Da Vinci Code and the Peppers are promoting their new album Stadium Arcadium. I hope that Tom will mention being a member of the Five-Timers' Club.
