A judge has granted Angelina Jolie's petition to have her children's last names changed to Jolie-Pitt to reflect that Brad Pitt is their intended adopted father. Jolie and Pitt are expecting their first biological offspring later this year.

Monday night's Golden Globe ceremonies attracted 18.7 million viewers, up 2 million from last year's total according to Nielsen Media Research.

Russell Crowe told reporters at Monday's Golden Globes that he and wife Danielle Spencer are expecting their second child this summer. The couple have a 2-year-old son, Charles.

Matt Damon has reportedly confirmed, in Spanish, to reporters in the Dominican Republic that new wife Luciana Bozan is pregnant with the couple's first child, his first acknowledgment of the long-running rumors. His rep, Jennifer Allen, declined to comment. Damon is in the Dominican working on a new film.

The screenwriters of Syriana and Capote are the finalists vying for the University of Southern California's prestigious Scripter Award for best film adaptation of a book or short story. The winner will be announced Jan. 18.

Shelley Winters, who won Academy Awards for her roles in The Diary of Anne Frank and A Patch of Blue, has died of heart failure in Los Angeles; she was 85.

The animated fractured fairy tale Hoodwinked led the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday box office with an estimated $16.6 million over the four-day weekend. The hoops drama Glory Road was a close second with an estimated $16.4 million, while Queen Latifah's Last Holiday was third with an estimated $15.7 million and Tristan & Isolde came in eighth with an estimated $7.8 million.

Brokeback Mountain led all winners with four awards, including Best Picture, Drama and Best Director (Ang Lee) at Monday's 63rd Annual Golden Globe Awards. Walk the Line won three awards, Best Picture, Musical/Comedy and acting trophies in the musical/comedy category for stars Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote) and Felicity Huffman (Transamerica) won top acting Globes in the drama category.

Joe Pichler, a former child actor who appeared in two of the Beethoven movies, has been missing for a week. His abandoned car was found in Seattle earlier with what may have been a suicide note.

Susan Sarandon has signed on to star as an evil queen attempting to keep a princess-in-waiting from finding her true love in Manhattan in Disney's modern-day animation and live-action fairy tale, Enchanted, starring Amy Adams.

According to Variety, Jennifer Lopez has signed on to star in Bridge and Tunnel, a romantic comedy in which she'll play a stock trader who depends on a suburban teen who day-trades on his home computer.

Indie film studio Lions Gate is planning to send out an unprecedented 130,000 DVD copies to Oscar voters as part of its campaign spotlighting Crash for Academy Awards consideration. Meanwhile, Lions Gate is partnering with Starbucks to begin promoting the studio's films and DVDs in coffeehouses.
