Daniel Baldwin's attorney told the Orange County D.A.'s Office that his client will be in court Tuesday to answer to charges of unlawful taking of a vehicle and receiving stolen property. A warrant was issued for the actor's arrest this week after he skipped his arraignment in Newport Beach. Turns out Baldwin was busy shooting a movie in Detroit. The New York Times is denying reports that production company Granada America has optioned the movie rights to Times reporter John Schwartz's article on arrested NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak, who has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly planning to kill a woman whom she believed was involved with the Navy officer she was in love with.
Just hours after News Corp. honcho Rupert Murdoch told reporters that Sacha Baron Cohen had signed on to star in a sequel to Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, a rep for 20th Century Fox said that a sequel was under consideration but not definite.
Russell Crowe has swapped out the cheerleaders for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Australian rugby team he co-owns, for a drumming band after receiving complaints by men and women...including Crowe's wife Danielle Spencer...that the skimpy costumes worn by the girls made fans uncomfortable.

Jennifer Hudson is set to appear on the cover of the March issue of fashion bible Vogue, per WWD. The Oscar-bound Dreamgirl will be only the third African-American to land the honor since December 2002 and, we're guessing, the only "American Idol" wannabe ever to do so. George Lucas has announced a release date of May 22, 2008 for the long-awaited Indiana Jones 4, per Variety. Harrison Ford returns to star and Steven Spielberg returns to direct the franchise installment this June.
Kevin Costner and wife Christine Baumgartner are expecting their first child together. The Dances with Wolves Oscar winner also has three kids with ex-wife Cindy. He and Baumgartner tied the knot in 2004.
Kate Beckinsale has signed on to star in the action-thriller Whiteout, based on the 1999 comic book miniseries of the same name, revolving around a U.S. marshal sent to investigate a murder in Antarctica, per Variety.

Lawyers for both Ryan and Griffin O'Neal held dueling press conferences around Los Angeles Wednesday, with each blaming the other party for sparking the Saturday's brawl, which resulted in the arrest of the Love Story star and the hospitalization of Griffin's pregnant girlfriend. Porn purveyors Vivid Entertainment have ponied up $1 million to acquire and release a sex tape featuring Paris Hilton's socialite BFF Kim Kardashian and Brandy's younger brother Ray J. The video, Kim Kardashian Superstar, is expected to be released later this month.

Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed on as the host of the Scientific and Technical Academy Awards Feb. 10, in which accolades are doled out for new devices, discoveries, and methods that are deemed invaluable to the movie biz.
Actor Ryan O'Neal was arrested at his Malibu home early Saturday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after a dispute with his 42-year-old son, Griffin. No word on the cause of the dispute, though the elder O'Neal's manager told "The Insider" that he was simply defending himself after Griffin started "wildly
