Neve Campbell is engaged to British actor John Light, per People. No word on a wedding date. This will be the second marriage for the former "Party of Five" star. A Los Angeles judge has sentenced Tom Sizemore to three years' probation after the troubled thespian tearfully acknowledged using methamphetamines last month. He could've faced 16 months in the slammer. Sizemore must also do 90 days in lockdown rehab.
During a speech at the University of Mississippi's Black History Month celebration, Spike Lee suggested Mississippi should ditch its state flag because it's a symbol of the state's long history of oppression against blacks. "I know people say it's representative of history. Well, so is the swastika," he said.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is suing producer Holly Wiersma and the production company behind Factory Girl for $6 million in a dispute over the North American distribution rights to the Edie Sedgwick biopic, starring Sienna Miller. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will reunite to star in an as-yet untitled Touchstone drama as lawyers who spent 15 years overturning a murder conviction, Daily Variety reports.

Horror remake When a Stranger Calls topped the Super Bowl weekend box office, grossing an estimated $22 million in its debut weekend. Meanwhile, boosted by its eight Oscar noms, Brokeback Mountain jumped to a new high of fourth place with an estimated $5.7 million in its ninth week in theaters. Something New came in seventh with an estimated $5.02 million.
The writers of Brokeback Mountain won best adapted screenplay Saturday night at the Writers Guild Awards, while the Crash scribes won best original screenplay. "Grey’s Anatomy" took the writing award for a new TV series and "Curb Your Enthusiasm's" Larry David won best writing in a comedy series.
