Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are vowing to pay frequent visits to New Orleans to observe the process as people work to put their lives back together one year after Hurricane Katrina. Lindsay Lohan's rep is denying reports that the actress' current squeeze, Harry Morton, recently shelled out for an engagement ring at Cartier in Beverly Hills. "It's not true," the rep told "E! News."

Sculptor Daniel Edwards is drawing inspiration from Suri Cruise's imagined first meal to create a bronze interpretation of her "first poop." The resulting sculpture will be on display at the Capla Kesting Fine Art gallery in New York through September and then will be auctioned on eBay to benefit the March of Dimes. Movie ticket sales are up an estimated 6.3 percent from last year, thanks in large part to the success of films such as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Cars.
Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have plunked down a reported $24 million for a beachfront home in Kailua, Hawaii, setting a new sales record for the area.

The Mark Wahlberg/Greg Kinnear feel-good football drama Invincible topped the box office with an estimated $17 million. The Broken Lizard comedy Beerfest came in fourth with an estimated $6.5 million, the OutKast musical Idlewild came in ninth with an estimated $5.9 million, and the adaptation of the Thomas Rockwell
classic children's book How to Eat Fried Worms came in eleventh with an estimated $4.1 million. Matthew Broderick broke his collarbone after being tossed from a horse while vacationing in the U.K., TMZ.com reports. Broderick was accompanied to the hospital by Sarah Jessica Parker, treated and released.
Sharon Stone has confirmed to "Extra" that she has adopted a third child, a baby named Quinn.
