Sandra Bullock's film company has filed suit against Tennessee's mental health agency to ensure they comply with a court order to notify the actress when Thomas James Weldon, the man accused of stalking her, is released from the state's mental health institution. Weldon is currently under consideration for release in 90 days.

Annette Bening, Cate Blanchett, Sofia Coppola, and Sally Field were honored with Premiere magazine's Icon Award at its 13th annual Women in Hollywood luncheon Wednesday.

L.A. City Attorney's Office has charged Lou Diamond Phillips with one misdemeanor count of domestic battery stemming from an Aug. 11 fight with his live-in girlfriend, during which she locked herself in the bathroom and called 911. The actor was then taken into custody and released later that morning on his own recognizance.

Production has halted on Nicolas Cage's gangster thriller Bangkok Dangerous, after Thailand's military coup threatened the safety of the film's Bangkok set, according to the Chinese news site Sina.com. Cage has since flown back to the U.S. on a private plane.

The X17 photo agency is denying the couple's version of events and claims its photographer is in the process of filing a complaint against the stars.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are continuing their reign of doing good by donating $1 million each to Global Action for Children and Doctors Without Borders.

George Lucas donated $175 million to the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, his alma mater.

Elizabeth Taylor has granted Christie's exclusive rights to handle the future sale of her jewelry, art work, clothing, and other belongings, the auction house said Wednesday. The aging actress said her things would be passed on to others "eventually...but not too soon!"

The Rock's inspirational prison football movie Gridiron Gang topped the box office with an estimated $15 million. The Brian DePalma film noir The Black Dahlia came in second with estimated $10.4 million, the Christopher Reeve-directed computer animated family film Everyone's Hero came in third with an estimated $6.15 million, and the Zach Braff dramedy The Last Kiss came in fourth with an estimated $4.7 million.

Lindsay Lohan was taken to the hospital in New York Friday after slipping at a Fashion Week party and fracturing her wrist, her rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, confirmed. Zelnick told "Access Hollywood" that "there's a pending investigation" into the incident, because Lohan claimed the venue did not take adequate precautions to prevent spills.

The Scotland Daily Record issued a public apology to Nicole Kidman for attributing negative remarks about Angelina Jolie's charity work to her. The paper acknowledged Kidman never made the remarks.

Mel Gibson's daughter, Hannah, married rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd on Saturday in California, "E! News" confirmed. Gibson was there to give his daughter away.
