The actress, along with Brad Pitt and their children, are in Pune, India, filming A Mighty Heart.

TMZ.com has reported that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department obtained a search warrant and raided the home of Deputy James Mee, the cop who arrested Mel Gibson, because they believe he leaked the original arrest report that detailed Gibson's anti-Semitic rant. Meanwhile, Gibson told Diane Sawyer that
he has apologized "more than anyone I know" and feels "it's getting old." Hilary Duff and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, are seeking restraining orders against a 50-year-old Russian man and his teenage roommate, alleging the guys are obsessed with them. Court papers state that the younger of the supposed perpetrators has declared his
love for Duff and said that Madden is standing in his way.
A judge has refused to dismiss 12 misdemeanor counts of contempt against Kim Basinger Wednesday. The actress is accused of failing to comply with court orders in her custody fight with Alec Baldwin. If convicted, she could serve up to 60 days in jail and pay a $12,000 fine.
Roger Ebert is hoping to recover from cancer surgery in time for the Academy Awards and the Cannes Film Festival, according to a letter published Thursday in the Chicago Sun-Times.
After California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was booked on Wednesday's "Tonight Show with Jay Leno," his Democratic opponent, Phil Angelides, complained he should get equal face time on the program. NBC News has reported that a car Angelina Jolie was riding in hit a man on a motorbike Wednesday in India, where the actress and husband Brad Pitt are shooting the Daniel Pearl biopic A Mighty Heart. The 19-year-old who toppled over told reporters that Jolie's driver had been trying to avoid a pack of
photographers. Mel Gibson told Diane Sawyer that he hasn't had a drink in 65 days and called his infamous anti-Semitic rant "the stupid ramblings of a drunkard" in an interview scheduled to air Thursday and Friday on "Good Morning America."
Sharon Stone has signed on to host the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Olso, Norway on Dec. 11.

Feb. 16 trial date has been set for Kim Basinger, who's facing a dozen misdemeanor contempt charges for allegedly getting in the way of ex-husband Alec Baldwin's visiting time with their 10-year-old daughter, Ireland. Baldwin is expected to testify, while Basinger has waived her right to be present during the trial. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continued their tour of global goodwill by donating $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation on Tuesday, which would have been the slain journalist's 43rd birthday, People reports.

Martin Scorsese's all-star crime drama The Departed came in with an estimated $27 million to take the top spot at the weekend box office, followed by the horror prequel Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning with an estimated $19.15 million. Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson's Employee of the
