London falls to the Cybermen while Jackie is usurped by Lumic. Elsewhere, the Doctor, Rose, and Mickey plot a strike against the Cyberfactory. 7 PM: “Ghost Whisperer” (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-Melinda encounters the spirit of a woman (guest star Bess Wohl) who died in a snowstorm 20 years ago after her car slid off a road in a heavily wooded area. The woman wants Melinda's help in finding her young daughter, who was in the car with her on the night of the accident. “1 vs. 100” (NBC; ends at 8 PM)-Bob Saget hosts this primetime game show. “Vanished” (FOX; ends at 8 PM)-Returns from hiatus. There's turmoil at Judge Rainer's confirmation hearing and violence outside it, and Agent Lucas (new cast member Eddie Cibrian) brings the clout of his considerable connections to bear on the investigation. “WWE Friday Night SmackDown!” (CW; ends at 9 PM) “Battlestar Galactica” (Sci-Fi Channel; ends at 8 PM)-Part 1 of 2. Starbuck and Tigh create divisions between those who suffered under the Cylon occupation of New Caprica and those who stayed with the fleet. Also: Baltar tries to prove his worth to the Cylons. “Ice-T’s Rap School” (VH1; ends at 7:30 PM)-Leir quits the group before the York Prep Crew's first performance at their school. 8 PM: “20/20” (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-2-hour episode. “Close to Home” (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-When the head of a school art auction is murdered following the event, the forensic evidence leads to a fellow PTA member (guest star Sarah Aldrich) who was seen having a fight with the victim earlier in the day. “Las Vegas” (NBC; ends at 9 PM)-Secrets about Ed's mysterious past come to light when he returns from a shadowy Moroccan trip. Meanwhile, sparks fly between Danny and Delinda; and Mike travels to Hawaii to help Sam deal with her problems. “Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy” (FOX; ends at 9 PM)-Part 1 of 2. Moms from Colorado and Massachusetts switch places. “The Soup” (E!; ends at 8:30 PM)-Joel McHale makes fun of celebrity news and events. 9 PM: “Numb3rs” (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-A series of blackouts occurs throughout the Los Angeles area when several power substations are sabotaged. One man, a nonunion worker, is killed during the first attack and it's soon learned the power company's workers are on strike. Don investigates and tries to determine whether terrorists are involved, while Charlie attempts to locate the next substation likely to be targeted. Also, Don's relationship with Special Agent Liz Warner heats up, which causes his dad some concern. “Law & Order” (NBC; ends at 10 PM)-Chevy Chase plays an unemployed television actor who lets loose with a drunken, bigoted rant during a DUI bust, at which time Green and Cassady discover evidence of another far more vicious crime. “Best Week Ever” (VH1; ends at 9:30 PM)-Frangela talks about Oprah’s giveaway; Borat, Halloween, Reese and Ryan, "Play 2 Win;" Sizzler: Marcia Cross’s nude pics, Flavor Flav becomes a dad for the 7th time; "Ugly Betty": Gay Justin; Separated at Birth?: Dakota Fanning & Chucky, Katie Holmes & Lonelygirl15, Madonna’s adopted son & his biological father; In Case You Missed It: "O.C." premiere, Wisconsin political ad, "Guiding Light" character gets superpowers, Chevy Chase on "Law & Order," John Kerry’s joke; Best Week Ever: Skeletons. 9:30 PM: “The Wendy Williams Experience” (VH1; ends at 10 PM)-Wendy interviews "Weird Al" Yankovic, Brooke Hogan, and Mike Epps.
