2006 November Sweeps November 6 Listings (Show titles in the larger size are the shows I recommend; reruns are not listed; all times are in the Mountain Time Zone) 6 PM: “Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead” (Lifetime; ends at 7 PM)-In her new series, British clairvoyant Lisa Williams shares her unusual talents: One day she brings messages from the dead to loved ones, the next she scopes out a haunted house for spirits. 7 PM: “The 40th Annual CMA Awards” (ABC; ends at 10 PM)-Brooks and Dunn host the 40th annual country-music gala at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville. Slated performers include Alan Jackson, Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Vince Gill, Sheryl Crow, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, and George Strait. “How I Met Your Mother” (CBS; ends at 7:30 PM)-Marshall starts dating a woman (guest star Morena Baccarin) and they really hit it off, but Barney and Ted tell him he has to dump her because she has "crazy eyes." “Deal or No Deal” (NBC; ends at 8 PM)-Tonight, Cleveland Cavaliers arena hostess Nicole Cuglewski of Brook Park, Ohio and "Mr. Mom" Miles McIntosh of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania play for the top prize of $1 million in a high-energy match of nerves, instincts and raw intuition. “Prison Break” (FOX; ends at 8 PM)-Michael and Sarah’s reunion is anything but romantic as Mahone and Kellerman are determined to keep them apart...permanently; Lincoln receives some help from a father figure as LJ meets a long-lost relative; Sucre plans a getaway with Maricruz; and T-Bag runs into a familiar face while holding the key to his freedom. “Everybody Hates Chris” (CW; ends at 7:30 PM)-Chris' new principal, Principal Edwards (guest star Jason Alexander), decides that the best way to solve the tension between Chris and Caruso is to pair them up as buddies on the school field trip. Meanwhile, Rochelle discovers that her favorite hoop earrings are missing and Tonya's name is written all over the crime. Julius sets out to find a Wayne Gretzky hockey jersey for Drew. “House of Carters” (E!; ends at 7:30 PM)-Aaron is hurt on a surfing trip in San Diego and is hospitalized with serious injuries. 7:30 PM: “The Class” (CBS; ends at 8 PM)-Kat and Ethan both pretend to be other people's blind dates at a bar, but Ethan hits it off with the woman (guest star Rachelle Lefevre) and doesn't know how to tell her he isn't the man she was expecting. Meanwhile, Nicole goes to see Duncan's reunited band perform. “All of Us” (CW; ends at 8 PM)-Robert and his sister Carmen (recurring guest star Tisha Campbell-Martin) prepare for their father's (guest star Glynn Turman) 60th birthday celebration by giving him a gift that unexpectedly reveals the two aren't really brother and sister. Meanwhile, Neesee helps Courtney get ready for the school dance, much to Dirk's dismay. Alfonso Ribeiro directed the episode. 8 PM: “Two and a Half Men” (CBS; ends at 8:30 PM)-Charlie goes with Berta to help her confront the man who impregnated her daughter (guest star Sara Rue), who comes to the house to help Berta clean. Meanwhile, Alan has an unusual fetish. “Heroes” (NBC; ends at 9 PM)-Facing a crisis involving her son Micah, a distraught Niki reveals her recent personal struggles to a friend. Pushing aside his own issues at home, Matt assists Audrey's (guest star Clea Duvall) investigation into another bizarre murder, but their pursuit of mysterious serial killer Sylar takes an unexpected turn. After failing to act like a "superhero" when faced with danger, Hiro questions his heroism. Nathan and his wife Heidi (guest star Rena Sofer) strategize how to win the congressional election. Claire is shocked to learn where her missing tape wound up. Meanwhile, her father H.R.G. ("Horn-Rimmed Glasses," guest star Jack Coleman) is disturbed by news from one of his associates. “Justice” (FOX; ends at 9 PM)-When a dot-com billionaire’s wife goes missing and is subsequently found dead after she disappears from an anchored yacht, TNT&G must prove that their client did not feed her to the sharks. “Girlfriends” (CW; ends at 8:30 PM) 8:30 PM: “The New Adventures of Old Christine” (CBS; ends at 9 PM)-Christine's attraction to Ritchie's teacher (guest star Blair Underwood) causes a scene at a school fund-raiser...especially after she wins a playdate with the man. “The Game” (CW; ends at 9 PM)-A minor argument escalates into a major locker room rift between Jason and Malik that affects their playing relationship on the field. The locker room tension spills over to Kelly and Tasha, leaving Melanie in the middle and in an awkward position when she insists that they all come to her house for a dinner party. 9 PM: “C.S.I: Miami” (CBS; ends at 10 PM)-A 19-year-old man is decapitated while performing a dangerous stunt with his tricked-out car during a sideshow where drivers and spectators gather to see unique autos and stunts. The man is beheaded while driving with his head sticking out of his car's sunroof under a row of tension cables strung between lamp posts. Although the incident appears to be an accident, Horatio believes the man was murdered. Also, Ryan agrees to allow a documentary filmmaker to follow him at work. “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip” (NBC; ends at 10 PM)-Part 1 of 2. An unusual collection of people have to go to a small town in Nevada to get Tom out of jail in time for his show that night. Guest star John Goodman plays a judge who's not a fan of "Studio 60."
