ABC President Stephen McPherson has vowed that the third season of "Desperate
Housewives" will be stronger than the second, which was slammed by critics and overlooked for Emmy noms.
The third season of "Project Runway" is already facing scandal after sharp-eyed fans accused contestant Keith Michael of plagiarizing the design sketches he submitted with his portfolio to audition for the show. Bravo is declining to comment, but Michael has responded to the accusations on a
blog, calling the sketches "a research assignment I did for a client in which I reviewed key fashion trends."

In reality TV news: Maribel, 31, a cafeteria chef from Brooklyn, NY, was eliminated Monday on FOX's "Hell's Kitchen 2." Also on Monday, Team Brown Family from Texas...Keith, a 43-year-old operations manager; Tonny, a
38-year-old EBS specialist; and Terrance, a 40-year-old inventory control specialist...were eliminated on NBC's "Treasure Hunters." They had previously been eliminated, but they came back into the game when Team Grad Students dropped out after Leg 2 because of injury. FOX Reality has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of "The Rob and
Amber Project," a docudrama that follows former "Survivor" and "Amazing Race" participants Rob and Amber Mariano as they continue their mission to stay in front of the camera, Daily Variety reports. The show will reportedly chronicle the couple's move to Las Vegas, where Rob will try to become a professional gambler.
Pamela Anderson has announced plans to wed Kid Rock on her official Website. "Yes. I'm finally getting remarried...it's been a whirlwind...spontaneous but well thought through," the actress wrote.

In reality TV news: Tanisha Malone, a 27-year-old forensic morgue technician from Newark, NJ, was the winner on Saturday of the second annual "Mo'Nique's F.A.T. Chance" beauty pageant for "fabulous and thick" women broadcast on Oxygen.
In an article in the August issue of O magazine, Oprah Winfrey clarified that, despite rumors to the contrary, she and best bud Gayle King are not gay, though she can see why people might think they are. "I understand why people think we're gay," Winfrey wrote. "There isn't a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women."
Jennifer Aniston told reporters in London that she would consider playing Rachel again for a "Friends" reunion show, particularly if it were a Thanksgiving episode.
CBS is putting promotional slogans for the network and its series on eggs, alongside the coded expiration dates used by grocers. More than 35 million eggs will be marked with lines such as "CSI: Crack the Case on CBS" and "The Class, New Grade-A CBS Comedy."
